It consists of 45% malt and matures in American oak barrels. The aromas of Akashi Meisei differ from the normal Akashi Blended Whiskey because there is less sense of sweet and oak. Notes of chocolate and mild coffee will dominate the aromas, accompanied by spices and vanilla.

The taste is moderate in sweetness and maintains a balance between sugary sweetness, spices and summer fruits. In the aftertaste, spices and tobacco will dominate and will keep our palate busy for a long time.
