GlenFarclas 105 comes from Scotland and the village of Ballindalloch. The Glenfarclas Distillery was founded in 1836 when Robert Hay was licensed to make whiskey. Since then, the distillery has been passed down from generation to generation, thus maintaining its family character. It takes its name from its high alcohol content and its age is not specified, although it is said to mature for about 8-10 years in Spanish oak barrels, which contained oloroso sherry before.

The aftertaste is long and persistent, with ginger and pepper combining and occupying our palate for a while, thus making Glenfarclas 105 a "strong" malt whiskey, which is not recommended for beginners.
