Glenrothes 10 Year Old comes to us from Scotland and the Glenrothes distillery, which was founded in 1878 by four partners. Obstacles and changes of ownership followed the company like a curse until 1963, when it began to take over and until 1989 it supplied Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse. The company rose to prominence again in 1999 due to a grant it also received from its people, who had brilliant ideas.

One such idea was the Soleo Collection series, whose first label is Glenrothes 10 Year Old. This label will be created from dried grapes, which were intended to be sherry in the city of Jerez and after the distillate has matured for at least 10 years in ex-sherry barrels. Aromas of citrus, vanilla and sherry are what we will distinguish from the first moment, with the spices accompanying them.

In the taste of Glenrothes 10 Year Old, citrus fruits and orange peels will prevail, with notes of spices and sherry accompanying them, thus leading us to a long aftertaste, in which sherry and vanilla will star in the beginning, with spices taking over. the baton at the end, keeping our palate busy for a while, with a warm and spicy feeling.
