Glenrothes Bourbon Cask Reserve comes from Scotland and the Glenrothes Distillery, founded in 1878 by four partners. Obstacles and changes of ownership followed the company like a curse until 1963, when it began to take over and until 1989 it supplied Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse. The company rose to prominence again in 1999 due to a grant it also received from its people, who had brilliant ideas. This label was created with spirits that have matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels, without mentioning the date of their aging.

The aromas and flavors of Glenrothes Bourbon Cask Reserve make it very interesting, despite its relatively low alcohol content. Aromas of freshly baked bread, butter, almonds and cinnamon are the ones that will stand out and which are accompanied by notes of white chocolate and spices. In the taste, the spices have the main reason, with the cinnamon and the pepper to stand out, while the notes of vanilla, honey and berries accompany them harmoniously, leading us to a warm aftertaste of orange, wood and spices to occupy our palate for a while.
