Highland Park 10 Year Old comes from the Orkney Islands and the Highland Park Distillery, founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson. It is the northernmost distillery in the world and one of the few that uses traditional, handmade malting threshing floors to make its spirits. This label will mature for at least 10 years in European and American oak ex-sherry barrels, thus acquiring its special characteristics.

In taste, honey, tobacco, sherry and spices are the ones that will dominate, with notes of dried and fresh fruit often appearing. The aftertaste of Highland Park 10 Year Old is of medium duration with the smoke initially prevailing and the spicy spices taking their place towards the end, leaving us with a spicy and warm feeling.
