The Isle Of Jura 12 Year Old comes to us from Scotland and the Jura distillery, which was founded in 1810 by Archibald Campbell. The distillery was closed from 1901 until 1960 and during this time it was rebuilt from scratch, with designs by the famous architect William Delme-Evans. That's when it got its name, as it used to be called "Small Isles".

The production of the distillates started again in 1963 and has continued in exactly the same way since then. Aromas of cinnamon and melon will dominate the Isle Of Jura 12 Year Old, accompanied by notes of pear, pepper and chocolate. On the palate, tobacco, melon and pear will prevail, along with notes of spices, leading us to a long aftertaste in which fruit and brown sugar will dominate, leaving a spicy and warm sensation on our palate.
