In 2016 we were introduced to Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye and it is the third rye whiskey of the company. They use the same water they use for Jack Daniel's Hollow, based on the distillery's 150-year-old recipe. It will mature for at least 4 years in barrels that are exposed to the sun and high temperatures.

Very aromatic with cherry, banana and oak having the first say in the smell, accompanied by strong notes of ethanol, which, however, do not upset the balance. The taste will be a bit reminiscent of Jack Daniels No7, but this does not mean that it does not have its own character with the banana, caramel and cherry appearing strongly at times. The finish is spicy and long lasting, with vanilla and cinnamon dominating. All this makes Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye one of perhaps the best rye whiskeys on the market, which has won over fans of the genre and beyond. Enjoy it with a little ice and give it some time to bring out all its aromas.
