It was founded in 1974 and since then until today it operates continuously, in the shadow of the imposing rock, in the center of the city. Frequent rain, fog and the climate of the area, make Oban knead the best wheat in the area, with a special recipe, to create this malt. It will mature in oak barrels for 14 years before being bottled and enjoyed.

Citrus peels, smoke and sea air are what dominate the aromas of Oban 14 Year Old, with notes of grass and wood to accompany them. Smoke, jam and pear will dominate the taste, accompanied by spices and cloves, leading us to a long and intense aftertaste, in which the wood and spices will give a slightly spicy and warm feeling.
