Old Pulteney 10 Year Old comes to us from Scotland and specifically the city of Wick, where the Old Pulteney distillery is located. The distillery was founded in 1826 by James Henderson, giving another breath to the city of fishermen, as it was known, as there were over 8000 fishermen in the city, who even drank 500 gallons of whiskey a day, at Wick's 81 bar. This led to the ban and the closure of the winery in 1930. For 25 years there was no alcohol in the city, until after the end of World War II, the residents managed to lift the ban and reopen the distillery in 1951.

The Old Pulteney 10 Year Old is a label whose spirits will mature for at least 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels, thus acquiring their special characteristics. Honey, pear tart and banana are the aromas that we will immediately distinguish in Old Pulteney 10 Year Old, with notes of vanilla, lemon and oak cream.

Green apple, lemon pie and honey are the ones that dominate the taste, accompanied by notes of pear, smoke and sea air, leading us to a long and persistent aftertaste, with salted caramel and oak dominating, accompanied by notes of spices, occupy our palate for quite long, giving us a slightly spicy sensation.
