Rose Wine

The harvest of this wine is mainly done during the night where the grape is picked quickly to avoid as much as possible getting wet with the skins. Its pale pink color is reminiscent of amaranth, while light fuchsia shades can be seen. The nose is of medium intensity with remarkable complexity while the presence of white fruit, peach, white flowers and some red fruit with tropical undertones is quickly apparent. Its taste is fresh and silky and its elegant acidity is balanced with a complex fruity memory and a certain softness due to aging on lees. This is a very pleasant wine that will keep you company!

The name RIRA has been mentioned since the old days for an area above the Neratzies of Aigio, high above the tourist resorts of Logos - Selianitika in the coastal zone of Aegialia. The estate, which has existed in its current boundaries since 1872, was cultivated with raisins in the old days. Siflogo Mavropatrino Natural is a wonderful rose wine, which comes to us from the beautiful Lefkada and the winery Siflogo. The winery was founded in 1994 by Dionysis and Maria Papanikolopoulou, with love and respect for the traditional methods of cultivation and winemaking, but also the indigenous varieties of the island. This label is produced from the Mavropatrino variety, which is probably the rarest in Lefkada, with the Syflogo winery being perhaps the only winery that cultivates and vinifies this variety.

This wine is made from organically grown Glera and Pinot Noir grapes and vinified using the Charmat method. Staffilo Prosecco Rose has a light powder-pink color with many fine bubbles that enhance its brightness. With the first sip, elegant floral aromas of rose petal, peony and fruits such as raspberry, lychee and papaya are noticeable. It is delicate on the palate, refined, fresh, crisp and balanced. Perfect as an aperitif but also suitable for the whole meal, especially with fresh salmon, crayfish and crabs. Ideal with tempura prawns and salad with fennel and orange.

It is named after the scepter of Bacchus which symbolizes prosperity, fertility and hedonism. This is a deep and bright rose wine with purple highlights, exciting and complex. The term Scalunera, in Sicilian means ladder, and refers to the terraced vineyards located on the steep slopes of Mount Etna, which have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Harvesting is done manually. And it gives us wine with a salmon color, characteristic of Nerello Mascalese grapes. Expressive nose of small red fruits with subtle notes reminiscent of ripe peaches and passion fruit. On the palate it is fresh, with a medium body and a long mineral aftertaste. Versatile at the table, it accompanies seafood appetizers, tuna tartare, pasta such as amatriciana and light barbecue.

The lively and elegant "Metodo Classico Etna Rose" better explores the character of Etna. It is produced 100% from the Nerello Mascalese variety in the Etna area - Contrada Dafara Galluzzo (Rovittello - Castiglione di Sicilia) at an altitude of 700 m. The wine remains in contact with the fine lees for several months before being bottled. After re-fermentation, Chiuse finds its own balance remaining 44 months in the bottle. The slow process of staying on the lees gives body to the wine and creates the sophisticated tertiary aromas.
