Rose Wine

The Moraitis winery, in the area of Naoussa in Paros, has been producing fine wines for several years. An old vineyard in the Demiralis area was replanted a few years ago and in 2019 gave its first wine, the Damerale BIO Rose Dry. Aidani Black, Mavrathiro and a small percentage of Monemvasia, are the varieties that are combined in order to give us this wonderful rose wine.

Nikolou Mandilaria Rose Dry will come to us from a young vineyard at the foot of Mount Hymettus, in the area of Koropi, and at an altitude of 600 meters. The grapes of the Mandilaria variety, which will give us the specific label, are carefully collected there. After hand harvesting, followed by thawing and extraction for 2 hours, static extraction and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts. Then it remains 2 months in the tank with its fine mud and 1 month in new barrels of oak and acacia for microoxygenation.

One wine, the Pantou Moschomavro Rose Dry, from the Pantou winery, received great distinction after winning the gold medal in the Berlin Wine Trophy competition, among 32 countries and 7000 wines.

The label of the Nisoy Methi Rose Dry comes from the beautiful Syros, in which was created in 2018 by Petros Roussos, the winery Para... Kopis. His purpose was the production of quality wines from the Cycladic varieties of their place, such as Serifiotiko, Roditis and Kountoura, thus generously offering consumers a taste of the traditions and aromas of its place.

From two cosmopolitan varieties, Syrah and Merlot, it comes a rose wine with a pleasant rose color and aromas of wild flowers and red fruits. Its cool and balanced taste with its shy character, seek light red dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine.

A semi-sweet rose from Moschato Mavro Tyrnavou with a rosy bright color with aromas of tropical fruits and roses, natural sweetness and full taste. Enjoy it with fruit or Chinese cuisine such as spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce.

Produced by the process of bleeding, where the marc stays in the phase of pre-fermentation extraction for 4-6 hours, until the color potential we want develops.
