The Irishman Founder's Reserve Sherry Finish is the third release in its class, which matured into first bourbon filling barrels before being carefully finished in luxury sherry barrels. It is produced by the Walsh distillery, which was founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh. This is a triple distilled whiskey resulting from a unique Single Malt blend, which will finish its maturation in Oloroso Sherry barrels, after first maturing in ex-bourbon barrels.
