Torre Mora Cauru Etna Rosso Doc 2019 0.75L

Cauru Etna Rosso has a dark red color and is produced from the Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio varieties. It is fragrant with dominant aromas of raspberry, cherries, violets, dates, cedar notes and flowers on the nose. In the mouth it has a medium body with firm tannins and the palate shows volcanic freshness with cherry jam, citrus and pomegranate. The aftertaste is long and lively gathering the energy of Etna. Enjoy it with grilled tuna, roast duck or turkey as well as vegetarian dishes based on wild mushrooms, aubergines or medium-aged cheeses.

The Etna DOC production area is an excellent place for viticulture. This area is distinguished by some unique features that when combined create a complex microclimate. The loose and fertile volcanic soil as well as the high altitude result in excellent, subtle, mineral and spicy wines. It is a unique place that stands out for its special bond with the characteristic vines of the area, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio which are the main grapes of the slopes of the volcano for the reds and Carricante for the whites.
