The soil from which it is cultivated is located in a closed mountain basin at an altitude of 300 - 420 m with a south-southeast orientation and is characterized by sandy clay coral limestone soil. Varvaglione Papale Oro is an impressively generous and rich wine with an intense red color. Aromas of fruit jam, black cherry, cassis, plum smoke, spices and a round and playful mouth are some of the elements that characterize it. The aromas of the nose continue in the mouth leaving notes of dark chocolate, licorice, mint and coffee. The aftertaste is long and a little sweet and reminds of caramel and Turkish delight. An den Achtmorgen is the first GG Pinot Noir. The plot is the heart of the equestrian trail in the Ruppertsberg and with the dense planting of Burgundy Pinot varieties in 2009. The sandstone and limestone in the soil and the sheltered location at the foot of the Haardt make this plot excellent for Pinot Noir. Since 2018 it is now also classified as GG. The wine is bright ruby with slight violet highlights. Airy, noble and elegant with aromas of plum and cherry preserves on the nose, it continues on the palate classy and ethereal floating and carried atgreat length by finely woven tannins and cherry aromas.

The Leinhohle is a southern slope just above Deidesheim. When the climate in Deidesheim was colder, it was considered one of the best locations in the village for grapes because of the sun exposure. Sandstone and limestone are mainly in the soil and for this reason wines of excellent quality are produced. Erste Lage is something similar to Grand Cru in France. The wine is fully fermented in barrel and matures on the lees for one year. Peach, apricot, apple and some herbal notes on the nose. Juicy complex and dense with ripe stone fruits and fine herbs in the mouth. Enjoy it with Asian dishes, with pork and spicy appetizers.

Sauvignon Blanc Imperiale is a new member of the estate's Sauvignon Blanc family and not a replacement for the popular SB I. It is heavily fermented and aged in oak barrels, giving it the savory feel, concentration and depth of Sauvignon Blancs that barrel fermented.

A small portion of the grapes from the best Sauvignon Blanc vineyards has been vinified in stainless steel for Imperiale. The intensity of the wood is therefore less, but the seductive exoticism and fruit are even more intense. Tropical guava, passion fruit, peach, orange blossom, fine hazelnuts and elegant roasted aromas make the nose of Imperiale a multi-layered firework. On the palate it is dense and juicy with its intense acidity captivating. It is a true revelation that you can accompany with seafood, vegetarian dishes and goat cheese.

Ungehheuer GG in Forst is one of the most important Riesling vineyards in Germany. In 1869, Ungeheuer was served at the opening of the Suez Canal and already had admirers such as Goethe and Otto von Bismarck.

Sandstone, limestone and basalt are found in the soil on the slope above Forst. Ungeheuer GG is intense and mineral with a refined and elegant nose. Aromas such as grass, apricot, orange peel, melon and hints of vanilla come to your nose after some time in the glass. In the mouth it is full and creamy. Its acidity, minerality, metallicity and saltiness are distinct. This wine is really tasty and balanced. Another plus is the possibility of aging, beyond ten years. Pair it with hearty dishes, such as baked pork, crabs and grilled tuna.
