This is a classic Rioja Reserva, showing the exceptional typicality of Rioja Alavesa's Tempranillo grape as well as the beautiful complexity acquired during traditional aging in small barriques for 24 months. Bright, medium ruby color with grenache highlights. On the nose, a core of wild berries is joined by spicy notes of tobacco, cedar and vanilla from barrel aging. Silky on the palate, showing freshness, complexity and a long finish, supported by fine, chalky tannins. This is an elegant, gastronomic wine that enhances great food without overpowering it.
