Aberlour 12 Years Double Cask Matured follows a specific process for its production. The two types of barrels (oak and sherry oak) are selected very carefully every year in order to host Aberlour. In them it will mature for at least 12 years and acquire its rich aromatic and tasty character, which makes it a wonderful and award-winning whiskey.

The aromas of Aberlour 12 Years Double Cask Matured are fruity with raisin and cherry predominating, accompanied by cinnamon and woody notes. The taste of butter, caramel, milk chocolate and nutmeg, will give us a complex but harmonious feeling, which will be complemented by notes of spices and brown sugar that will intensify their appearance towards the end.

Its aftertaste is persistent, medium length and spicy. Chocolate and raisins will dominate, before the spices come and occupy our palate, with nutmeg and ginger predominating. Serve it with ice and enjoy it with good company.
