Its main ingredients are water, which was chosen by its founder after analyzing many samples, and excellent quality barley, which grows in large areas around the distillery. These create Ancnoc Black Hill Reserve, an excellent malt whiskey which matures exclusively in new ex-bourbon casks, thus acquiring many aromas.

Coconut, green apple and vanilla will stand out among them, with soft notes of honey and spices to accompany them. The taste is dominated by spices and pear, with intense notes of honey, caramel and vanilla, while its long and persistent aftertaste will be dominated by spices and honey, thus giving us a pleasant, slightly spicy and balanced finish.
