    The Ardbeg Wee Beastie 5 Year Old comes from the south coast of Islay Island in Scotland and the Ardbeg Distillery, created in 1815 by the MacDougal family. It is the latest addition to the company's labels and surprises us with how easily it gained its own audience.

    Aged for just five years, in ex-bourbon and Oloroso Sherry barrels, but the result is amazing. The strong aromas of Ardbeg 5 Year Old Wee Beastie are full of pine and black pepper, accompanied by notes of various spices and herbs, such as cinnamon.

    The taste is complex and slightly spicy, with strong characteristics of chocolate, tobacco, bacon, which are accompanied by notes of anise. Towards the end the eucalyptus will make its presence strongly felt and will lead us to a long lasting aftertaste with notes of cocoa, pear and honey to accompany it. Serve it with ice or combine it with your favorite soft drink and enjoy it with good company.
