Auchentoshan Heartwood is a single malt whiskey from Old Kilpatrick, which is located in the Lowlands of Scotland. This whiskey goes through a special process of triple distillation, -like all Auchentoshan labels- before entering barrels to mature. Its maturation will take place in two stages.

In the aromas of Auchentoshan Springwood we will find many citrus fruits to jump out and dominate accompanied by notes of wood, smoke, honey and vanilla. In the taste, the citrus fruits will persist again, while the notes of honey and vanilla become more intense, with the chocolate component following. The aftertaste of Auchantoshan Springwood is full of lemon and orange, which will be accompanied by notes of vanilla and spices, leaving us with a wonderful, fresh sensation.
