Bairaktaris Monolithos Red Dry 2021 0.75L

Monolithos red is a 100% Agiorgitiko that comes from vineyards in Tzitari and Kalivia Nemea which are located at an altitude of 450-500m and the average age of the plants is 40 years. It is a wine with a bright red color and purple highlights with intense complex aromas of black wild fruits which combine perfectly with the soft tannins and deliver a rich, crisp and balanced taste on the palate.

Paired with white and red meat grilled or stewed with red sauces, cured meat, pasta, aromatic spice sauces and roasted vegetables. It also combines perfectly with hard and semi-hard cheeses such as mozzarella, feta and pecorino.

Vine cultivation was a tradition for the Bairaktari family that passed from one generation to another, thus learning to take care of the land and its fruits with undivided love and affection. In 2005, however, Christos Bairaktaris decided to give a more modern form to this family tradition. This is how the Bairaktari Estate was born.

It is a family business that was based on its own vineyards, firmly rooted in the Nemea plain, where the wonderful ecosystem and microclimate of the area, combined with the clayey, fertile soil, gives the famous great wines of Nemea. The Bairaktari Estate invests in quality and in cultivating the idea of the vine and wine as a cultural asset.
