Bowmore 15 Year Old Golden & Elegant is an amazing malt whiskey that was introduced to us in 2017 and which comes to us from Scotland and specifically the city of Bowmore and from the eponymous distillery. The town of Bowmore was founded in 1768 and just 11 years later, in 1779, the first legal distillery on the island of Islay became operational, under the supervision of David Simon. The Bowmore 15 Year Old Golden & Elegant will mature in ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads, which will give it its special aromas.

In the taste of Bowmore 15 Year Old Golden & Elegant, the citrus fruits will take the reins, with the orange and lemon standing out a little more and notes of vanilla and tobacco accompanying them, leading us to a long aftertaste, full of smoke, citrus and spices, which keep our palate busy.
