The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 by the Greenlees brothers and opened its doors for the first time in 1883, with 11 employees and 4 huge distilleries, perhaps the largest in the industry along with Glenmorangie. Bunnahabhain 18YRS comes with aromas of caramelized nuts and a sea breeze, which takes us from the first moment to the island of Islay. Its taste is full of oak notes, fruit, spices and toffee which will dominate and will be accompanied by soft notes of sherry, leading us to an aftertaste full of dry spices, salt and sherry, thus occupying our palate for a long time.
