Cardhu Amber Rock is produced in one of Speyside's oldest distilleries, near the River Spey. The distillery was founded by John Cumming and his wife Helen. Helen and Elizabeth Cumming are the two women who are responsible much of Cardhu's current form and those who grew up and made the distillery famous through their activities.

Cardhu Amber Rock will mature twice in smoked, American oak, ex-bourbon barrels, which will add rich notes of vanilla and spices, remaining faithful to the tradition of Scottish malt whiskey. Citrus fruits and honey will dominate the aromas of Cardhu Amber Rock, accompanied by strong notes of vanilla and spices.

Its extremely balanced taste will be dominated by fresh vanilla, which will be accompanied by strong notes of spices, caramel and tobacco, leading us to a long aftertaste where spices and vanilla will combine harmoniously, giving us a wonderful feeling in the sky.
