After several years, the older rums are transferred from barrel to barrel and mixed with the newer rums. During aging the rums change to a very dark color, in a harmonious balance, achieving roundness and maturity. In the Cartavio 12 Year Old they also add spices, light chocolate, coffee and dried fruits. The result is sweet and soft rum.

The color of Cartavio 12 Year Old is mahogany and smells of authentic aging, it has a natural taste with notes of vanilla and molasses.
