After the death of Samuel Gelston, the distillery was bought by Harry J. Neill, who managed to make Gelston's Whiskey known around the world, based on his traditional recipe. Gelston's 12 Year Old Rum Cask has matured for at least 12 years and has been left in ex-rum barrels for a while to get extra scents.

The aromas of Gelston's 12 Year Old Rum Cask are rich full of fruit, vanilla, caramel, peach and sugar, accompanied by notes of spices. In taste, peach, apricot, cocoa and lemon will prevail, with notes of ginger, cinnamon, pineapple and pepper to intensify their appearance, leading us to a spicy aftertaste with papaya and ginger to occupy our pallate for a while.
