After the death of Samuel Gelston, the distillery was bought by Harry J. Neill, who managed to make Gelston's Whiskey known around the world, based on his traditional recipe. Gelnston's 12 Year Old Port Cask, will mature for at least 12 years in new, bourbon barrels, before entering the Duoro Superior Port Casks for about 5-6 months, so as to get extra aromas, which make it special.

Aromas of lemon, dark chocolate and vanilla, combine harmoniously and offer us an amazing malt whiskey. The taste of Gelston's 12 Year Old Port Cask is a bit spicy, in which cinnamon and ginger stand out, which are dominated and accompanied by notes of strawberry and oak.
