Sazerac Rye 0.7L 45%

Sazerac Rye has aromas of orange zest, cloves and raisins with notes of rye and anise spice. It is gentle allowing a deeper inhalation to pick up the faintest odors. Quite enjoyable overall and a nice way to start sipping. Sazerac Rye fruit flavors consisting of sweet apricots, orange peel and plums meet more traditional notes of caramel and vanilla, a mixture of raisins and anise. It has a light body and needs a little searching to bring out all the flavors.

At the end the rye spice breaks out, but only momentarily. A light black licorice note follows, but is quickly overtaken by a spicy-sweet blend of dark fruit, caramel and black pepper.
