His name did not come up by chance but after a panel of expert tasters that tried 100 different samples of blended whiskey to select the 69th sample as the best, and so they gave him this name.

The composition of VAT 69 has over 40 malt and grain whiskeys which together create a blend soft but with a dynamic and spicy finish. It is mild in taste and balanced with spices, caramel and cereals. Its aftertaste is pleasant giving a spicy finish. It is ideal for creating various cocktails but can also be consumed plain with some ice.
