The West Cork Distillery was founded by three childhood friends in 2003. Today it has an area of 12 acres and exports its production to more than 70 countries. The barrel in which the whiskey has matured was previously used to mature bourbon. It is a mixture consisting of 75% cereals and 25% malt.

The aromas of West Cork Blended Irish Ipa Cask are reminiscent of vanilla, citrus, green fruits and grapefruit. In terms of taste, plenty of oatmeal notes with a little nutmeg and spices are offered. The result is an Irish whiskey, the West Cork Blended Irish Ipa Cask, with slightly sweet tones and a reminiscent finish of roasted nuts.
