The West Cork Distillery was founded by three childhood friends in 2003. Today it has an area of 12 acres and exports its production to more than 70 countries. The barrel in which the whiskey has matured was previously used to mature bourbon. West Cork Stout Cask is a whiskey blend consisting of 75% cereal and 25% malt.

West Cork Blended Irish Stout Cask aromas refer to chocolate, raisins and nuts as well as its taste reminiscent of all this and of coffee extract giving us the feeling of pear and caramel. The aftertaste is short-lived and is basically sweet due to the chocolate and vanilla that make it quite tasty.
