Cantina Zaccagnini Tralcetto Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva 0.75L

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes used for this wine are from a vineyard located in the beautiful Casauria Valley. The harvest is done by hand normally at the end of October. The wine is fermented for 15-20 days in oak barrels and also aged in oak barrels for at least 9 months. After bottling it remains in the cellar for at least 6 months.

It has a deep red color with purple highlights. Its aromatic panorama is broad, with floral rose aromas, fruity berry aromas - especially raspberry jam - and graphite in the background. In the mouth it is full, dynamic with nice tannins and freshness. Goes well with savory, well-seasoned dishes such as pasta with sliced meat, mushroom risotto, red meat and lamb.

A cool refreshing rose wine from Abruzzo area. Medium intensity pale pink. With floral aromas, like violets and roses combine with notes of tart red berries (raspberry, raisin). It is balanced on the palate, with freshness and flavor leading the aromatic finish of small red fruits. Enjoy it with shrimp, salmon or barbeque!
