Cantina Zaccagnini Tralcetto Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva 0.75L

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes used for this wine are from a vineyard located in the beautiful Casauria Valley. The harvest is done by hand normally at the end of October. The wine is fermented for 15-20 days in oak barrels and also aged in oak barrels for at least 9 months. After bottling it remains in the cellar for at least 6 months.

It has a deep red color with purple highlights. Its aromatic panorama is broad, with floral rose aromas, fruity berry aromas - especially raspberry jam - and graphite in the background. In the mouth it is full, dynamic with nice tannins and freshness. Goes well with savory, well-seasoned dishes such as pasta with sliced meat, mushroom risotto, red meat and lamb.

Cantina Zaccagnini was founded by Marcello Zaccagnini in 1978 in Bolognano, a small village in the heart of Abruzzo, province of Pescara, and a "cru" land of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo production. Today the name Zaccagnini is associated with wine and is known all over the world. Determination, stability, social and environmental responsibility, allowed him to obtain quality certifications both in Italy and abroad.

For Zaccagnini, wine is a cult embodied in the "tralcetto": vine branch tied around the neck of the bottles, which has become a symbol of excellence, passion and love for art and wine. The "tralcetto", -made by the women of Bolognano- has become an ambassador for the region and the wines of Abruzzo throughout the world, defending quality and respect for the land.
